OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our organization is founded on the principle of empowering student-athletes to make informed decisions both on and off the field, equipping them for future success. Our program is dynamic and continually evolving, with improvements made year after year to ensure that we provide an exceptional experience for youth athletes in Rockville Centre.
We recognize the value of multi-sport athletes, which is why our program does not operate year-round. Research has shown that year-round play increases the risk of injury and burnout, and we want our players to remain excited and motivated to return to the game. By playing alongside their close friends from grades 2–6, athletes still have ample opportunity to participate in other travel programs starting in 7th grade. The solid foundation we establish during these formative years will provide lasting benefits as they transition to middle school and high school.
If you are advised that your child must join another program before 7th grade in order to remain competitive, this is misleading. There is ample time—coaches are not permitted to make contact until September 1st of a player’s junior year of high school.
Our dedicated coaching staff and open communication have cultivated a supportive, family-like environment, ensuring that our student-athletes are thoroughly prepared for the challenges that lie ahead. This approach enables us to create a significant, lasting impact on every player who participates in our program.
RVC Futures provides a high-level travel program with a local practice facility and tournaments on Long Island, offering the perfect balance of convenience and competitive play—without the hassle of extensive travel.
